Hearing Will Examine How Greater Access to Affordable Family Care Improves Economic Outcomes for All Americans

 

WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 11:00am ET, Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04), Chairman of the U.S. House Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth, will hold a hybrid hearing titled “Growing our Economy by Investing in Families: How Supporting Family Caregiving Expands Economic Opportunity and Benefits All Americans,” to examine the link between federal investments in affordable family care and inclusive economic growth.
